How to Check TikTok Analytics
TikTok Analytics is a comprehensive tool that allows users to track the success of their content on the network. It provides information about your account’s growth, your followers’ engagement, and your videos’ performance.
Also, it may help you discover what content resonates with your audience and which themes and trends are likely to be successful. TikTok, fortunately, has made it simple to access your analytics. However, some users are still restricted from viewing this function.
According to TikTok, this tool is only accessible to those with a TikTok business account. These accounts provide “creative tools that enable businesses to think like marketers, yet act like creators.” In addition, it is free.
If your account isn’t a business account, you won’t be able to turn on TikTok analytics. So, here’s how to switch to a business account:
- Navigate to your user profile page.
- Click on the “Settings and Privacy” tab (i.e. the three lines in the upper right corner).
- Choose “account”.
- Then tap the “Switch to Business Account” tab.
- Select the category that most accurately represents your account. TikTok has a variety of categories ranging from Beauty to Art & Crafts to Finance & Investing to Personal Blogs.
- You can then add a business website and email address to your profile.
Now that you’ve set it to a business account, you can finally access the TikTok stats.

On mobile:
- Open your TikTok profile, then tap on the three dashes in the upper-right corner.
- Select the “Creator Tools” option.
- Select “Analytics” from the menu that appears.
On desktop:

- Select the option to “view analytics”.

How to turn off analytics on TikTok?
If you want to turn off TikTok analytics, the methods below will show you how.
- Go to your profile page.
- Select the three dashes.
- Then click the “Settings and Privacy” button.
- Select the Account tab.
- Select “switch to personal account” from the menu.
- When prompted to confirm your decision, click “switch anyway.”

Personal account: If your account is not upgraded to a business account, you cannot see or use TikTok Analytics.
Bad network: If your network is slow or down, you cannot access TikTok or its Analytics.
Recently posted videos: Because TikTok requires specific data before making analytics available to your videos, you may not be able to see data for newly released videos.
You just recently set up your account to a business account: Even though you now have access to TikTok analytics, you will not see any data because you only recently created your account. TikTok will keep your account statistics private for 7 days.

This tab displays the videos with the most views for a chosen date frame. Additionally, it offers data on each post, such as the following metrics:

- Total Play Time.
- Trending Videos.
- New Followers
- Video Views.
- Retention Rate.
- Traffic Source.
- Average Watch Time.
- Total Viewers
- Watched Full Video
- Top Locations
Follower Analytics
This section is about monitoring specific followers and detailed demographic information about your audience. It is essential and beneficial in ensuring that your content resonates with your audience and supports your follower’s massive growth.
